About Us

The staff of Ascension Behavioral Healthcare is dedicated to providing competent and compassionate healthcare-- specifically in the field of General Adult and Forensic Psychiatry. We are excited to partner with Neuronetics in order to provide Neurostar TMS Therapy to those individuals suffering from the symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder. Each provider is committed to following the practice standards and protocols associated with this line of treatment.

Dr. James Lee, Jr. received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Afterwards, he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. After graduating from Meharry, Dr. Lee completed a residency in General Adult Psychiatry through the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health Alliance in Columbia, SC and a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Tulane University New Orleans, LA. He later moved to Rock Hill and opened Ascension Behavioral Healthcare in 2007.

Arrington Lee received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University, located in Conway, SC, in 2008. After graduation, Mr. Lee joined Ascension Behavioral Healthcare in 2009 and now serves as the Office Manager; assisting in billing and the day to day operations for the practice. In addition, Arrington is the Certified TMS Coordinator for the practice.

• Court ordered evaluations pertaining to competency to stand trial and criminal responsibility.
• Independent medical evaluations concerning fitness for duty and workman's compensation issues.
• Our practice belongs to many (but not all) managed care and preferred provider health plans. Please check with our billing department if you have questions.
• Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

• Mood Disorders - depression, dysthymia, and bipolar disorder
• Anxiety disorders - obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and agoraphobia
